Aug 19    Trusting your Inner Tree
Trusting Your Inner Tree

Maura will share from her latest book: The Inner Tree: Exploring The Roots of Your Intuition and Overcoming Barriers to Mastering It. The book is a delightful narrative painting trees as the perfect metaphor for inner wisdom and connection to Source. Torkildson shares her own journey of discovery from believing that she did not have intuition, to learning that she is intuitive, to using that intuition in service to others as a mentor, coach and business consultant.

Torkildson’s rare gem examines the obstacles to intuition and shows readers how to overcome them. Even if one’s intuition is strong, it can be difficult to follow its guidance if its message is uncomfortable to face. But what if he or she knew…

• How to enhance intuitive awareness by understanding their “intuitive type”
• How to manage emotions and ego, enabling better interpretation of signs
• How to walk this wisdom path with joy and self-compassion

And if you like esoteric fiction, Maura's first book will also be available for purchase. The Curious Magic of Buckeye Groves - a young woman's quest takes her through portal trees into her own magical world on a quest to save both worlds.

Aug 25    Introduction to Crystals
Did you know that our planet is made of about 70% Quartz?

In this class, we will cover several topics including the abundance of Quartz on Earth, how the Earth's crystals connect to our human bodies and how to identify the Earth's most common minerals. We will explore these crystals using both science and metaphysics to delve into this subject to show the interconnections of all life on earth. We will touch on the practical uses, ancient applications, and how the crystals are connected with our own journey on Earth. This class is intended to be a doorway for those just learning about crystals and consciousness.

Many examples of crystals will be used in the class and you will have an opportunity to purchase crystals at the end of the class.

Our workshop will be lead by Lance, an intuitive healer who has been studying and working with crystals and plants for more than 15 years. He has cultivated a connection to these elementals that enables helpful guidance and access to hidden or lost wisdom. His knowledge and innerstanding of the elemental world allows him to bring to life the many aspects crystals and stones possess. Much like humans, the stones have personalities and preferences.

Lance's experience with them translates to a depth of knowledge about this subject only second to his passion to be of service. His love and passion for this work shows in his enthusiasm and the stones that he personally selects to share with the world.

Cost: $35 ($20 to go towards crystals at the end of class)
